This recipe, was offered by W.F. Fletcher (1915) in "The Native Persimmon".  It was referenced as having come from a publication by Troop and Hadley from 1896 referenced below.  This recipe had NO INSTRUCTIONS.

Ingredients:


1 Pint persimmon pulp (2 Cups)
1 Cup sugar
1 quart of sweet milk
3 Cups flour
1 teaspoonful ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder

480 ml persimmon pulp
200 g sugar
950 ml of sweet milk
360 g flour
5 ml ground cinnamon
10 ml baking powder
