Persimmon Chocolate Chip Cookies (click here for recipe with metric measurements)  

This persimmon cookie recipe is reprinted from the "Indiana Nut Growers Cookbook" (1995) and used by permission from the Indiana Nutgrowers Association.  

Ingredients:

1 Cup persimmon pulp
1 1/2 C
ups sugar
1 egg
1/2 C
up butter
2 C
ups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 t
easpoon nutmeg
1/2 t
easpoon cinnamon
1/2 t
easpoon cloves
1 C
up nuts (optional)
16 oz package chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 375 F.

Drop dough on greased cookie sheet.

Bake 9-11 minutes. Cookies will be soft.


Persimmon Chocolate Chip Cookies (metric measurements)

Ingredients:


240 ml persimmon pulp
300 g
sugar
1 egg
120 g
butter
240 g
flour
5 ml soda
2.5 ml
nutmeg
2.5 ml cinnamon
2.5 ml cloves
150 g
nuts (optional)
450 g chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 191 C.

Drop dough on greased cookie sheet.

Bake 9-11 minutes. Cookies will be soft.
